Student Personal Information Compliance
Two new laws, Act 677 and 837, have been passed that will require schools and education agencies to handle student information in a more secure way.  You may read each act by reading the attached files below. Negotiations are in effect to secure contract addendums with the companies that we use for student services, instruction, testing, etc.  The State Department of Education has negotiated contracts with companies that are on statewide contracts.  You can view those by clicking on these DOE Contracts.

In addition to the state contracts, our schools enter into agreements on the school level.  Attached is a file that lists the vendors that we utilize for instruction in our district.  It will be a dynamic list due to the nature of instruction.  The companies/vendors listed in the attached files have signed agreements or are in the process of negotiating an agreement.
