JOURNAL OF BUSINESS AND TRAINING EDUCATIONCALL FOR PAPERSVolume 13, 2004 Business educators and trainers are invited to contribute articles for publication in the 2004 issue of the Journal of Business and Training Education, a national refereed publication. Manuscripts should deal with topics of interest to business educators (at both the secondary and post-secondary levels) and to trainers in business and industry. Submissions of manuscripts dealing with practical topics are encouraged, as are research based or theoretical papers. Book reviews are accepted. Occasionally, invited authors' papers will be published. The Journal is listed in Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities. Manuscripts will be selected through a blind review process. Manuscripts should not have been published or be under current consideration for publication by another journal. You are encouraged to submit your manuscript electronically (MS Word format). Submissions should also include a title page, a 50-100-word abstract, and 3 to 5 key words or phrases describing the focus of the article. The manuscript body should range from 6 to 15 double-spaced typed pages of 12 point type-size, including tables and references. (Typically 2000 – 3500 words). Manuscripts and references must be prepared using the style format in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Fifth Edition. The title page is to include the title of the manuscript and the running header. The following information on each author needs to be included on the title page: full name, position/title, place of employment, city, state, zip code, telephone numbers and e-mail address. The first content page of the article should begin with the title, followed by the abstract and introductory text. If you need to submit your manuscript via hard copy instead of electronically, please include 5 copies. To ensure your manuscript is considered for the 2004 Journal, submit materials by February 15, 2004.
